  1. Thank you for including my father’s uniform in the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum. Belton J. Flick became a Patrolman on the Norwood Police Department in 1950. He rose through the ranks over his thirty year career. He became Chief in 1974, and retired in 1980. The switchboard was central communications and dispatch for Norwood City Hall, Police and Fire for decades. After it was replaced, Chief Flick kept it from being taken to the dump. It resided in his basement until his passing at the age of 92, in 2015, and was donated to the GCP Museum by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Flick.
