Patrolman Kenneth Christopher Ratcliff
(1952-2025)
Ken was born August 21, 1952 in Florence to Cornish L. and Belva Jean (Christopher) Ratcliff. He attended Boone County High School where he wrestled in the 210-pound class and graduated in 1668.
After high school, Ken joined the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged.
He then continued his service to his community in the Boone County Police Department where he served for many years.
He then joined Delta Airlines.
Patrolman Ratcliff died on February 13, 2025 at the age of 72.
He was predeceased by his son, Joshua Densler, and sister, Jane-Ella Pitney. Patrolman Ratcliff is survived by his wife of 31 years, Paula Ratcliff; children, Lacey (Kwesi) Owusu-Agyei, Danielle (Bryan) Roland, and Dustin Coyne; grandchildren, Haley Densler, Issaiah Densler, Brianna Densler, David Hall, Blake Wells, Gavin Coyne, Samuel Owusu-Agyei, and Kennedy Densler; great-grandchildren, Liam Densler and Violet Densler; and siblings, Karen Ratcliff, Jan (Pam) Ratcliff, and Hope Ratcliff.
A graveside service, with full military honors, will be held at 12 noon on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane in Williamstown, Kentucky.
