Deputy William J. “Bill” Sanders
(1951-2025)

 

 

Bill was born June 20, 1951 to William J. and Virginia “Ginny” Sanders. He graduated from Lawrenceburg High School in 1969 and earned a degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis.

Officer Sanders died suddenly on February 8, 2025 at the age of 73

Officer Sanders is survived by his daughter, Samantha (Brad) Hornberger; grandsons, Max and Ben; and friend and former wife, Sharon.

Bill joined the Greendale Police Department as a Police Officer. Officer Sanders later transferred to the Dearborn Count Sheriff’s Department where he served as a Deputy Sheriff.

He also worked in warehouse management at Kenner Toys, J&J Packaging, and Duofol until retirement.
