Sergeant William Conrad “Bill” Hohmeister
(1943-2024)

 

Bill was born on September 10, 1943, in Lawrenceburg.

About 1968, he joined the Cheviot Police Department as a Patrolman. By 1975, he was promoted to Sergeant. In June 1985, he competed for Police Chief and finished second. When the Chief was out of town in 1987, he acted as Police Chief. Sergeant Hohmeister retired in 1997 after 29 years of service.

Sergeant Hohmeister died on December 9, 2024

We believe he is survived by his wife, Peggy Jane (Braun) Hohmeister and children, Christopher Thoms, Angela Christine, and Andrew Thomas.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on December 20, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe in Liberty Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
