Police Officer Kenneth Lee Williamson
(1947-2024)

 

 

Ken was born July 12, 1947, in Cincinnati, the third of four sons born to James Herbert Williamson, Sr. and Flonie (Bustle) Williamson in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Princeton High School, participated in Band and Baseball, and graduated in 1965.

Sometime before August 1975, Ken joined the Springdale Police Department as a Patrolman. We currently have no career information, other than he was involved in at least three dramatic vehicle pursuits in 1975, 1977, and 1979.

Officer Williamson, after a long battle with a brain injury, succumbed on August 20, 2024, at the age of 77.

He is predeceased by his brother, James Williamson, and sister-in-law, Lily Williamson. Officer Williamson is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Linda Gail Williamson; son, Scott Allen Williamson; grandchildren, Hailey Williamson and Emma Williamson; and brothers, Wayne (Kay) Williamson and Dennis (Connie) Williamson.

A visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way, in Fairfield. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matt Gordon officiating. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park on Pippin Road.
