Fos Hopkins was a prominent attorney in the 50’s and 60’s.  He was the Perry Mason of Cincinnati.  He was against the death penalty, so he became defense attorney, while his brother practiced civil.

High profile cases:

  • Meter reader, Robt. Lyons, accused of murdering Audrey Pugh, who lived in a wealthy area of Grandin Rd.
  •  Edythe Klumpp, who was accused of killing her lover’s wife.

Point out gun used to kill PO Bond.  Fos described very graphically two electrocutions he had observed.  This caused the jury to recommend life instead of death penalty.
