Cincinnati First to Receive Charter

The city of Cincinnati was the first city to receive its charter after ratifying the constitution. The city fathers followed the example of the founding fathers up to and including a city motto, Juncta Juvant (Those Joined together support each other)(Working in cooperation with the citizens to provide a safe community). This motto brought forth collaboration in all the communities in the Greater Cincinnati area, regardless of geographical boundaries. This does not exist in any other area in the country. The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum has a rich story to tell, a story no one else is telling, a story constantly changing. With over 5,000 artifacts, and 6,000 archives the museum is a must see.
