Officer Dennis Lincoln “Denny” Daley
(1952-2026)

Denny was born November 18, 1952 to Leroy Charles and Eileen (Holt) Daley.
After high school, Denny joined the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
After military service, he joined the Arlington Police Department as a part time Police Officer. On August 30, 1988, he was appointed as a permanent probationary Police Officer.
In April 1990, Officer Daley joined the Reading Police Department. In November 1994, he received a “Feather in Your Hat” award from Reading Community Schools for his solving of a vandalism at one of their schools. Officer Daley retired in 2013 with 25 years of service to two communities.
Officer Daley died peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 30th, 2026 at the age of 73.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, Daniel Lee Daley. Officer Daley is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cynthia A. “Cindy” (Fath) Daley; children, Dana (Brian) Justice, Nathan Daley, and Dennis E. Daley; and grandchildren, Cyrus, Peyton, Autumn, and Trevor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Spring Grove Funeral Home at 8633 Reading Road in Reading. The funeral service will be private.
