Reserve Sergeant Robert “Bob” Wehner
(1944-2026)

 

Robert “Bob” Wehner, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2026.

Bob was born on March 7, 1944, to Robert Lee and June Irene (Baker) Wehner. 

He served as a reserve officer with the Kenton Count Police Reserve and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife of 58, years, Joyce (Swango) Wehner and siblings, Linda Wehner and Richard (Carolyn) Wehner.

Reserve Sergeant Wehner died on February 25, 2026 at the age of 81.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home at 11382 Madison Pike in Independence from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with burial immediately following at Wilmington Cemetery.
