Police Officer Larry Leon Hall
(1947-2026)

 

 

Larry was born on November 7, 1947 in Cob Hill, Kentucky to Wilma Hall.

He enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War, after which he was honorably discharged.

Larry then became a police officer in Northern Kentucky and served with multiple departments. These included Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department and Villa Hills as Police Chief for short durations. Officer Hall retired from the Erlanger Kentucky Police Department.

Officer Hall passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the age of 78.

He was predeceased by his sister, Diane Youngman, and brother-in-law, Roger Hamlin. Officer Hall is survived by his daughters, Brandy (Brandon) Exeler and Tonya (Jason) Hall, grandchildren, Madison (Joshua) Jackson, Drew Hensley, Emalee Taylor, Ashlee Taylor, Jonathan (Riley) Hensley, Kaitlyn Taylor, and Nathan Hensley; great-grandchildren, Greyson Jackson and Aliza Jackson; and siblings, Debbie (Dave) Lawson, Darlene Hamlin, Donna (Bill) Bates, and Wayne Hall.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer Northern Kentucky Chapel at 4350 Dixie Highway in Erlanger. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
