Patrolman Frank Henry Feldhaus, Jr.
(1938-2025)

Frank was born on September 16, 1938 to Cincinnati Patrolman Frank Henry “Pappy” Feldhaus, Sr. and Agnes M. (Driscoll) Feldhaus. He attended Central High School where he participated on the swimming team and graduated in August 1957.
One month later, on September 12, 1957, Frank joined the United States Army. After six months he shipped out to Korea and served there for 14 months in Security. He then spent another 14 months in Security at Fort Meade, Maryland. On September 11, 1960, Specialist/4 Feldhaus was honorably discharged.
Eight months later, Frank followed in his father’s footsteps when he joined the Cincinnati Police Division on May 22, 1961 as a member of its 39th Recruit Class. He was promoted to Patrolman on August 28, 1961, issued Badge 238, and assigned to District 1 (310 Lincoln Park Drive). A year later, he was rotated to District 7 (813 Beecher Street). On January 1, 1963, he transferred back to District 1. On February 27, 1966 he transferred to District 3 (3201 Warsaw Avenue). Patrolman Feldhaus resigned due to poor health on November 22, 1967 with nine years of service to his country and community and eight letters of appreciation and/or commendation.
He used his experience in the transportation and trucking industry where he became a Safety Director and founded the Fore-Most Safety company.
Patrolman Feldhaus died on October 11, 2025 at the age of 87.
He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann (Leigh) Feldhaus (2016); brother, Mike Feldhaus; and sister-in-law, Cathy Feldhaus. Patrolman Feldhaus is survived by his children, Frank (Shelley Schlicker) Feldhaus III, Kevin Feldhaus, and Mark Feldhaus; grandchildren, Cagney (Claire) Feldhaus and Rachel (Noah) Freed; great-grandchildren, Richard Feldhaus and Henry Freed; and siblings, retired Cincinnati Police Specialist Ed (Cassie) Feldhaus, Dan Feldhaus, and Tootie Feldhaus; and sister-in-law, Marlene Feldhaus.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home at 5527 Cheviot Road in Monfort Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church of White Oak at 3565 Hubble Road. Burial will immediately follow across the street at St. James Cemetery.
