Park Ranger Mark L. Adams (1955-2018)

Mark was born August 12, 1955 and attended Courter Technical High School, graduating in 1973.

Mark joined the Hamilton County Park Rangers on February 28, 1981. He retired June 27, 2007 with 26 years of service.

During September 2018, Ranger Adams suffered a massive stroke. On November 12, 2018, he was convalescing at home when he suffered aspirational pneumonitis. He was rushed to the hospital and passed away there at the age of 63¼ years.

He is survived by his wife of almost 18 years, Carolyn R. (Markley) Adams, and sons, Mark Andrew Adams and Garrett Scott Adams; grandchildren, Logan and Kara; brother, Steve Adams.

A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Lakeside Lodge in Sharon Woods.
