Police Officer Floyd Leroy Henderson
(1957-2024)

Floyd was born August 25, 1957 in Troy, Ohio to Marvel Leroy and Ruth Evelyn (Skinner) Henderson. He graduated from Troy High School.

He worked for many years in Tool and Die.

After graduating from a Police Academy, he served with the New Richmond Police Department.

Officer Henderson died at home on December 11, 2024 at the age of 67.

He was preceded in death his parents and a sister, Kathleen Wilson. Officer Henderson is survived by his sister, Joyce Lingo.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.

Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s Choice.
