Police Officer Joseph J. Weber (1954-2023)

Joe was born April 8, 1954 in Cincinnati to Joseph H. and Rosemary Weber.

After high school, Joe joined the United States Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy. He served as a bodyguard to Oliver North and Barbara Bush.

 Joe was appointed Police Officer for the Mount Saint Joseph Police Department and later for the University Medical Center Security Department.

Officer Weber was diagnosed with cancer about 2021. He died on August 24, 2023 at the age of 69.

Officer Weber is survived by his sibling, Dave (Debra) Weber, Paul Weber, Daryle Weber, and Mary Jo Weber.

Visitation will be held 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Mihovk Rosenacker Funeral Home, 5527 Cheviot Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catharine Church at Fischer Place and Wunder Avenue. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Bernard.

Memorials may be made to the Cincinnsti Society for the Preventio of Cruelty to Animals or the Wounded Warrior Project.
