Pam was born September 16, 1952, in Cincinnati, to Eugene and Ida Lee (Irby) Franklin. She was raised in the Steele Subdivision of West College Hill and educated in Catholic schools, including St. Richard of Chichester Elementary School, McAuley High School, and Xavier University.
Pam joined the Cincinnati Police Division as an assistant Operator/Dispatcher. She was later promoted to Operator/ Dispatcher, and still later retired.
Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer and died on March 8, 2023 at the age of 70.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Sharon Eberhart, Ruth Franklin, Joy Franklin, and Ernest Dale Franklin. Pam is survived by her daughter, Kameron (Antwawn) Sheats, and granddaughters, Sovereign and Kamdyn; and sisters, Angela (Ibrahima) Fay, Jean Elaine Franklin, and Marjorie Keeling.
