Ritchy was born about July 26, 1968 in Chicago. He was the son of Philippineimmigrant, Ritchy Emerito Tuzon, who was naturalized in 1978. He attended Northeastern Illinois University and majored in accounting.
After 1988 and before 1994, Ritchy moved to the Greater Cincinnati area. On June 1, 1995, after already accumulating extensive experience in the healthcare system, he joined Hospice of Miami Valley as Vice President of Finance.
He married Jane E. Gumila on May 21, 1994 and had a child, Jasmine Ashley Tuazon.
Ritchy joined the Springdale Police Department about 2005 as a Police Officer. By June 2007, interested in updating their website, he advertised in the newspaper classifides for a volunteer to assist. He was also a longtime member of Springdale’s Honor Guard, then of the Hamilton County Police Association Honor Guard. He was also involved in the Police Unity Tours annually honoring the nation’s fallen officers. Later in his career, he was promoted to Detective.
Detective Tuazon was vacationing with his wife out of town when, on July 25, 2023, he suffered a fatal medical event.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Road in Liberty Township.

Ritchy was loved by all who knew him. He was quick with a smile and a kind word. He will be greatly missed. God speed, Ritchy!
