Tim was born October 10, 1964 in Georgiana, Alabama. He attended Woodward High School, graduating in 1983, and then the University of Cincinnati until 1984.
During March 1984, Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and completed boot camp at Parris Island. He was based at Camp Lejeune until July 1984 and then was assigned to the New River Air Station in Jacksonville, North Carolina. From January 1986, he deployed to Okinawa as a combat engineer in an engineering support battalion. Lance Corporal Pugh was honorably discharged in January 1987 with a Meritorious Mast, two letters of appreciation, and a good conduct medal.
In the next eight months, he worked for Cincinnati Security Services, Wells Fargo Guard Services, and Allied Security Services.
Tim joined the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer on September 17, 1987. During February 1988, Officer Pugh was selected to be photographed for a life-size cutout to serve as an example for the Office’s new fitness standards. After almost six years of service, Officer Pugh resigned on August 31, 1993 for other employment.
Officer Pugh died on April 2, 2023 at that age of 59.
Visitation was held April 10, 2023 at Thompson, Hall & Jordan Funeral Home in Forest Park. There is no obituary yet available from the funeral home.
