Tom was born April 24, 1948 in Cincinnati to Frank and Winifred Baldock.
He joined the United States Navy in the mid-1960s during the Vietnam War.
After returning home, Tom joined the Cheviot Police Department as a Patrolman. He headed up the wage negotiation team in the late 1970s. By 1987 he was designated the Department’s spokesman. On July 13, 1987 he was promoted to Sergeant. Sergeant Baldock retired in February 2000 with 27 years of service to his community in addition to the service to his country.
Sergeant Baldock died on June 13, 2022 at the age of 74.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Ron Baldock and Frank Baldock. Sergeant Baldock is survived by his children, Carrie Bartlett and Troy Baldock; grandson, Hayden Bartlett; and sister, Margaret “Peg” Baldock.

Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, near Mt. Healthy. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, turn left and follow the blue line to the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.
