Dave was born December 21, 1963 to Leland Storm, Sr., and Patricia (Zucker) Storm. He attended Ann Weigel Elementary, White Oak Junior, and Colerain Senior High Schools, graduating in 1982.
Dave joined the United States Army during August 1982. He was assigned to the 410th Military Police Company in Fort Hood, Texas in January 1982. Private Storm was honorably discharged during September 1983.
He returned home and went to work at T. J. Window Company as a window and door installer.
Dave joined the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office on August 8, 1985. On May 14, 1987 he was promoted to Correction Officer II. Deputy Storm resigned August 19, 1988 after five years of service to his country and county.
He then joined the Security Department at The Christ Hospital until June 2022.
Deputy Storm died on October 25, 2022 at the age of 58.
Deputy Storm is survived by his wife, Sherry A. Storm; children, Bethany Storm, Eric (Angie) Storm, Tanner (Josey) Storm, and Julie Bosken; grandchildren, Josie, Wyatt, Nora, and gunner; siblings, Leland (Julie) Storm, Jr., and Linda (Jimmy) Sabelhaus.
Visitation was held October 29, 2022 at the Hodapp Funeral Home on Cincinnati-Columbus Road.
