Court Service Officer Brian Arnold Moore
From April 1988 he worked at Petland in Cherry Grove. In January 1989 he was a cashier at Mt. Washington Marathon.
Brian joined the United States Army in April 1991 and served in Armor as an M1A1 tank crewman and providing security for barracks and ammo point during Desert Storm. Specialist Moore was honorably discharged during April 1994.
Brian then, on June 15, 1997, joined the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officers. On May 12, 1999 he was appointed Court Service Officer 1 and assigned to the Court Services Division. He was additionally assigned to the Underwater Search and Recovery Team. On July 1, 2017, Court Service Officer Moore was granted a disability retirement with 23 years of service to his country and county and more than two dozen letters of appreciation and/or commendation.
Deputy Moore died February 7, 2021 at the age of 49.
Deputy Moore is survived by his children, Jorden D. Moore, Christina M. Cain, and Seth L. Moore; parents, Floyd and Lois (Barlage) Moore; grandchildren, Adalynn M., Jaxon A., Gavin, and Dawson; and sister, Amy.
Visitation will be held 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at T. P. White & Sons Funeral Home at 2050 Beechmont Avenue. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery at 4521 Spring Grove Avenue.
