Deputy Sheriff Lawrence Lee “Joe” Hester

Larry was born January 29, 1937 in Alabama to Lawrence and Juanita Hester.

He served as a member of the United States Army.

He also served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Kenton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Hester passed away at Boonespring Nursing Home on May 26, 2019 at the age of 82.

He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Hester (2017); parents; and daughter, Michelle Corman. Deputy Hester was survived by his children, Michael (Missy) Hester, Jack (Sherrie) Hester, Theresa Weber, Tracy Hester, Robin (Todd) Marksberry; thirty grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, James Hester and Joyce Herthel.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home, 3525 Dixie Highway.  His life will be celebrated at 1 p.m.  Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery, 3125 Madison Ave, Latonia, KY 41015.
