On October 1, 2022, Officer Thomas resigned to join the Hamilton Township Police Department in October 2022. She excelled in everything she took on and approached every assignment with professionalism, courage, and heart.
She married Matt Graham in September 2024 at Glacier National Park. In December, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cervical. While enduring chemotherapy, she pushed through and continued to work for the Department on light duty status. The Department, Hamilton Township, and the entire community supported her in her battle. On July 9, 2025, she announced that she completed her treatments.
Not long after her health deteriorated. She died on the evening of November 25, 2025 at the age of 31, exactly ten years from the date that she graduated from the Academy.
