Deputy Sheriff Deanna Bullock Hicks (1937-2018)

Deanna was a Deputy Sheriff for the Boone County Sheriff’s Office for 37 years.

She was also an active member of St. Tim’s and St. Paul’s Senior groups.

Deputy Hicks passed away, surrounded by her family, on August 19, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Joe F. Hicks; children, Larry (Sharon) Hicks, Steve (Katharine) Hicks, Mike (Mayra) Hicks, Pat (Debbie) Hicks, Mark (Heather) Hicks, Keith (Rose) Hicks, Chris Hicks, Nancy Hicks, Ann (Bobby) Barnes, Joe D. Hicks and Jennifer Strouse; 35 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Tom (Martha) Bullock, Pat (Judy) Bullock, Betty Vittitow, and Bobby (Patricia) Bullock.

A visitation will be held 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at St. Paul Church in Florence, Kentucky.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:15 p.m.  Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Foundation Hospice Fund, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
