On Monday, July 3, 2017 at 5:30 PM, United States Army Brigadier General David P. Glaser will be promoted to the rank of Major General during a brief ceremony on the front steps of Elder High School.  General Glaser will be assuming the Office of the Provost Marshal General aka: Chief of Police of the United States Army. The General is also an active member of the IACP.

General Glaser comes from a police family and is related to Sergeant [retired] Kathy Horn, Police Officer Thomas Finley and his brother is retired Hamilton County Deputy Tony Glaser.

General Glaser graduated from Elder in 1981. The fact he is returning to his home for his promotion is significant and his family has asked that if you are available and would like to attend this function that your join them.
